I want to share a brief thought with us.
Are you waiting for a miracle?
There are two types of ‘waiters’ – Passive and Active ‘waiters’.
1. Passive ‘waiters’– The ‘God would do it’ people. They abandon every responsibility to God, parents, friends, government, etc., but themselves. Always passing the bulk.
Tip: You are the one God put in charge of your life, that is why you are the sole person to give account of how you used it. More so, you are the primary beneficiary of a good or a bad decision or advice. Hence, even if you missed an opportunity or someone misled you, you must accept the responsibility, learn from it and ask God to use it for His glory.
2. Active ‘waiters’– They are waiting, but they allow themselves to grow. They constantly look within to hear what God would have them do, who He would have them meet, where He would have them go, etc.. When you look at them, if you are not careful, you would think that they are stuck. However, just like a tree, they may be at the same location, but their root, influence, character is spreading and growing.
These people are also constantly helping other people’s visions and dreams. This is our core approach to ministry and life, helping people rise.
Tip: As you wait for a spouse, job, contract, admission, child, etc., make sure you are waiting ACTIVELY!
