Unmasking

Sometimes, we are afraid to reveal our wounds. We fear to be vulnerable; to show that we can be frail. Hence, we create the impression that we have it all together, than reveal our humanity.

Even though we are made in God’s image, fashioned just like him, it’s OK to show emotions and to ask for direction. Just in case you don’t know, many people are lost as well; they may not look like it, but deep down their hearts, they are groping in the dark, they have unanswered questions…because we are all work in progress. Who knows? Probably, in the process of sharing, you may get the answers you seek.

However, who we talk to is critical as some people may turn your story into social media trending news. This does not negate the point that a problem shared opens up opportunities for fresh paradigms and for the burden bearers God has put in your life to step in and help.

Rather than worry about being mocked or laughed at, worry about remaining on the same spot year in year out!

Get help, pay a coach, enrol for a course if you need to. By all means, make progress!
