Spicy Romance!

This week, we shall look at Spicy Romance in marriage. Why do some couples only enjoy “the honeymoon experience” for less than 1 year, 3 years or 5 years? Why do some couples drive each other ‘crazy’?

Marriage is sometimes presented as complex, necessary evil, prison or an institution of pain, by the media and some cultures. Little wonder the younger generation has developed an approach for working around it called cohabitation. We have people trying to go into marriage, expecting to enjoy an exceptional romance, without making the necessary mental adjustment. It’s like trying to paddle the boat against the ocean’s current. Our minds are the first points of call, this is where the journey to Spicy Romance begins; the very foundation of our marital experience. You may want to ask, “what is Spicy Romance”? Spicy Romance is simply that hot, exciting, invigorating and breath-taking romantic experience couples enjoy when their passion, principles and pledge align. This drives us to craft our own Romance Storyline and do heroic deeds to capture and nurture our spouses’ hearts.

What do you believe about marriage? Do you think romance is real and possible for you? Do you have convictions that used to serve you in the past, but are presently hindering your capacity to build and nurture Spicy romance in your marriage?
