Don’t pour the water away – yet!
He is annoying, I can’t stand his ego.
She is so disrespectful, no woman should speak to a man like that.
Every relationship goes through phases. When the ‘forming’ phase is over, the ‘storming’ phase starts. It is a phase in which you must seek to understand each other better. You both may have different ways of seeing things and expressing how you feel about those things.
Some attitudes may be shocking. Yes, but give the relationship a chance. Probably, if you, patiently and with the right attitude, point out how his ego is affecting things, or how her attitude is coming across as disrespectful, things may change.
This is not to encourage bad behaviour, but to encourage you to check if the ‘baby’ is still in the water before you pour it away.😀
He may not even know that his ego is bruising your femininity.
She may not even have lived with a father/father-figure, so still addresses men the same way she would address women.
